Hi I'm Syd and I am the founder of Folk Vintage! Folk Vintage is a vintage shop located on 446 Thames street, Newport, Rhode Island. Once on Spring Street in 2022, we moved down the street to a bigger location on Thames. Folk carries hand selected vintage pieces curated by myself for others to be able to fully express their most unique self. My love for vintage and sustainability all started when I would thrift in college at the Goodwills in South Florida. After many years living out of state and abroad, I found myself wanting to end up no where else but Newport RI. Newport is a home to such a beautifyl community, I am honored folk is a part of this community. My only wish is that folk can be a home to you all<3

When you walk into folk you feel as if you were walking into a 70s basement. Folk carries apparel from the 60s to early 2000s ranging from streetwear to disco. Our modern vintage brand is for those who value sustainability and the art of vintage clothing.
